1. What is “The Big Move Walker Cancer Ride”?
The Big Move Cancer Ride is a non-competitive ride to raise money in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre. The Ride includes a 50K and 100K cycle through Niagara Region starting and ending at Club Roma, St. Catharines. Be a part of this historical experience!
2. What is the minimum age required to participate in the Ride?
We welcome anyone who is 14 years or older to participate in the Ride. For those participants between the ages of 14 and 16 we ask that a parent/guardian sign the waiver form.
3. What is the route of the 50K and 100K Ride?
Both 50k and 100k rides are late season, FUN rides, rather than competitive races. The rides quickly escape urban St. Catharines, climb to the top of the escarpment and follow rolling country roads through the scenic farm lands of the southern Niagara Peninsula. The 100k route is exactly the same as the 50k route with an additional 50k added atop the escarpment exploring the southern reaches of the Niagara region. See a detailed cue sheet for both the 50K and 100K route in the "About the Ride" section.
4. Will there be parking available at Club Roma for the event day?
