In memory of our Hero, Lesley Osmond
It is with sad hearts that we share the news that our cancer hero, Lesley Osmond lost her battle with cancer this past weekend. Her amazing spirit and tremendous dedication to the building of the Walker Family Cancer Centre will forever be remembered. The 2010 Ride Committee sends our deepest condolences to Lesley's family and friends. She has touched the lives of so many in this community and her story of bravery and determination will be an inspiration for years to come. 
Pledge money drop-off
If you have collected cash or cheque pledges and would like to drop them off before the Ride in September, you can do so every Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday, between 9am - 4pm to the SCGH Foundation Office. We're located at 142 Queenston Street, St. Catharines, on the ground level. Use the free 15 min. parking spaces behind the hospital and use the patient registration entrance to find us. We can update your online personal pledge with the info you've collected.
Shorthills cycling club joins the big move!

It is the fuel that propels common people to attain uncommon results.” Such is the case of Walker Industries and their dedication to an important cause. Cary Clark rode last year’s Big Move Cancer Ride in memory of his friend and Walker Industries colleague, Bob Grimm. 
Training rides EVERY THURSDAY!
Training rides with Louise & Andre Blais will take place every Thursday (weather permitting). The group meets at Rockway Community Centre on Pelham Rd at 5:45pm for a 1.5 - 2 hour ride (ride starts at 6pm). You must wear a helmet and have a bike in good working condition in order to participate. Please check the website for cancelation notices due to inclement weather.
